  Best crabcake I've eaten in my entire life - not exaggerating. There were huge lumps of crab, little filling, and no shell. Our waiter, wish I could remember his name, was very friendly and attentive.
  I went to Pappas about 10 years ago and haven't been back unfortunately until just today, but boy am I glad I visited.
  If you're looking for quality food and awesome, personable service, look no further!

  I've been here twice. Once about 7 years ago and then again last night. I ordered a crab cake. When my meal came out, I took the first bite. It tasted TERRIBLE. But I assumed that maybe it just rubbed up against another dish in the kitchen. I mustered through to the center which was better, but still not great. It was very liquid like - as if undercooked. I muddled through it about 2/3 of the way. I start eating from the outside in again and that awful taste was back in my mouth. I allowed my mother in law as well as my husband to try it as well. Both agreed it tasted bad. My husband instantly wanted to vomit. The manager approached me and asked if I wanted something else. My stomach was extremely upset at this point and I told her no. She grabbed my plate and never came back. She never offered a new meal to take with me or a resolution for the check. We received our check and there was a whopping $3.80 discount. That's horrible customer service. Your food was NOT up to par and there has basically no attempt to correct the situation. I will NEVER come back here. And I'll be sure to tell all of my friends and family the same!
  
  Update*** after this review, the owner replied with an apology and "hoped I'd be back to give them another try." Still no offer to correct the situation. Avoid this place. Absolutely pathetic.

  I can't speak to the actual restaurant experience, this is only for takeaway taste. No picture because I ate it. I had someone bring home a crab cake for me and it didn't disappoint. Huge and all meat, very little filler. Delicious and great texture crab meat. It was even good reheated under the broiler! I'm gonna head there and check it IRL, looking forward to it. The coleslaw was also good, not too sweet.

  Went last Friday with a friend for her birthday. I told the waiter it was my friend's birthday and he gave her a complementary ice cream. Even though he gave us the ice cream. He never came to the table to give us water or anything. We had to keep raising our hands to get his attention. When we were going pay the bill we ask him to split the bill, he told us if we do that he will have to charge us 20% a piece for the gratuity. Ummm I never heard of that. So we just put everything on the same bill. We paid the bill and gave him a $10 tip. When we were leaving he the waiter chased us out and said we only gave him $10 and that was not enough of a tip especially since he gave us a complementary ice cream. I told the manager and she did nothing. So if you want a waiter to harass you about a tip and the manager to not care come here ... if not go to another place with better service
